Paradevit Boost
Presentation
A viscous, amber coloured liquid.
Each ml contains:
1.4mg vitamin B12
1.4 mg selenium
2 mg cobalt.
Uses
A high dose Selenium, Cobalt and vitamin B12 supplement for livestock.
When dietary intake of essential vitamins and trace elements is low, the health and productivity of the animal may be improved by supplementation.
Selenium deficient stock may suffer from white muscle disease increased still births, weak lambs and depressed fertility.
Cobalt deficient stock may have depressed appetites and/or show signs of general ill-thrift.
Vitamin B12 deficiency causes loss of appetite and general ill-thrift
Dosage and Administration
Pardevit Boost is administered orally.
Dosage:
Cattle
Suckler /dairy cows 15 – 25 ml
Yarded cattle 15 ml
Calves/young stock 5ml
Sheep
Hoggs and breeding ewes 1 ml / 10 kg bodyweight
Lambs over 6 weeks old 2.5 – 3.5 ml
Lambs up to 6 weeks old 1 ml
Horses
Adults 15 – 25 ml
Yearlings 10 ml
Foals 5 ml
When to use Pardevit Boost:
Cattle
3 weeks prior to calving 1 week prior to turning out Repeat monthly if necessary
Sheep
Use from birth, can be repeated monthly if necessary Pre-tupping & 3 weeks prior to lambing
Horses
Use from birth, can be repeated monthly if necessary.
Contra-indications, warnings, etc
Do not repeat at intervals of less than one month. For animal use only. Keep out of the reach of children.
Pharmaceutical Precautions
Pardevit Boost should be stored under cool conditions in the original packaging. Shake well before use.

Pasture analysis for trace element content is useful and laboratories undertaking this work can provide advice on the need for supplementation. Pasture swards can vary greatly in their trace element content. Contaminant soil can substantially alter the trace element supply.
