ANIMAX welcomes new commercial manager for Ireland

The Carr’s Group is thrilled to announce that Mark O’Brien has joined as Ireland’s Commercial Manager for ANIMAX.

Mark has over ten years’ experience in the agricultural sector. He comes from the Lisavaird Co-op where he was Animal Health Purchasing and Sales Executive. Nationally he has been involved with Associated Trading Co-ops. Based in West Cork, Mark helps out on the small family dairy enterprise. The farm is grass based and has been availing the benefits of ANIMAX Tracesure boluses for several years.

Mark will be leading the Irish team with the aim to expand through encouraging farmers to adopt technologies designed to improve herd or flock performance. His focus is on ensuring animals have the right supplementation to maximise growth, nutrition, and overall health.

“Bolusing means we can be certain that animals are getting the correct amounts of trace elements over a sustained period. ANIMAX Tracesure offers a steady release throughout the 6 month period, making it the most precise technology on the market”.

“I’m really looking forward to working with an energetic and positive team to expand the ANIMAX presence on grass based farms in Ireland. Between us we have broad knowledge in all areas – Damien Storan our dairy specialist, Neill Acheson our beef specialist, and Flor Ryan our sheep specialist”.

Mark O’Brien is contactable by email on mark.obrien@animax-vet.com.

ANIMAX would like to thank Mark’s predecessor – Rory Dicker – for his years of dedicated service and wish him a very happy retirement.
